Gastronomic Forum Barcelona 2021's main objectives are to advance towards sustainable food and contribute to the recovery of the sector in the post-covid stage. The show will have more than 300 exhibiting companies that will occupy a total of 10,000 m2, 6,000 m2 of exhibition space and 4,000 m2 for more than 70 activities, a gastronomic congress and the Forum Lab innovation area, carried out in collaboration with the World Capital. of Sustainable Food 2021 of Barcelona.

60 chefs totaling 46 Michelin stars

This year's edition of Gastronomic Forum Barcelona brings together more than 100 speakers, including 60 chefs with a total of 46 Michelin stars.

Gastronomic congress

The program of master classes, thematic sessions, tastings and product presentations will take place in various settings and will have sustainability in the kitchen and quality restoration as a common denominator. As Pep Palau, co-director of Gastronomic Forum Barcelona points out, “the most influential chefs have explicitly opted for caring for the environment through specific projects, linking their brands to initiatives that bear the seal of sustainable development and collaborating with institutions or important food companies ”.

Specialized proposals

  • Forum Dulce: a space for the dissemination of pastry, ice cream and bakery, promoted by the Gremi de Pastisseria de Barcelona and Espai Sucre.
  • Espai Catalunya: with local food and more than 70 artisan companies grouped by Prodeca, and the Diputaciones de Barcelona and Girona.
  • Forum Vino: a forum in which the sommeliers Josep Roca and Ferran Centelles will participate, among others.
  • Vi Showroom: organized by Prodeca, it will bring together more than 60 Catalan production companies and an informative space run by Incavi, within the framework of the Setmana del Vi Català.
