Primavera Sound Barcelona


This year's Primavera Sound 2020 will finally be held from June 2 to 6, 2021. All tickets purchased will be valid for 2021 and will enjoy special benefits in appreciation of the public's trust. Whoever wishes may also request a refund. On Wednesday, June 3, the exchange and return operation will open and the first artists will be announced for 2021. Primavera Pro will hold a virtual edition from July 21 to 24, 2020.

The Primavera Sound festival has been held in Barcelona since 2001 and has established itself as a world reference in the urban festival model. The musical selection is based on eclecticism and coherence but also on risk. Music so that viewers of different generations can fully enjoy the experience of live music with pop, rock and more underground trends in dance music as protagonists.

This year's concerts will be held at the Parc del Fòrum in Barcelona from June 3 to 7, but there will also be many concerts in different areas of Barcelona (mainly in El Raval), which will expand the musical offer throughout a whole week. This parallel program is called Primavera a la Ciutat and is celebrated from June 1 to 7.

Primavera Sound 2020: an impressive line-up to celebrate its 20th anniversary

20 years ago, Primavera Sound began its journey in Poble Espanyol. And the celebration is going to be important. They have insisted on putting 20 years of music in a single line-up ... and they have succeeded. This year you will enjoy the most panoramic, open and inclusive program in the entire history of the festival: a wide range of disciplines, sensibilities and backgrounds, to celebrate the role of Primavera Sound as a backbone of the cultural zeitgeist of the last two decades. Through the scenarios of the 2020 edition, 211 artists of 35 nationalities will pass to sound past, present and future. This year's festival will be a photo of all time that will also show the identity they have built year after year.

The Primavera Bits beach will host an extra day of the festival for the first time on Sunday, June 7. In partnership with Brunch -In Barcelona, ​​Primavera Sound Barcelona 2020 will be extended one day with a closing party Brunch -On the Beach. We will have Disclosure DJ set, Nina Kraviz, Amelie Lens and Black Coffee. This day is included with the full festival ticket, although a limited number of day tickets will also be on sale at DICE and Resident Advisor.

Primavera Bits

In collaboration with the City Council of Sant Adrià de Besòs, Primavera Bits is a festival within the festival that honors its origins: electronic music. As always, with all styles. It is the most hedonistic and alternative section of the festival. There we will have Disclosure and Caribou.

Primavera PRO

International meeting with talks, conferences, workshops, showcases and meetings, held in parallel to the festival, aimed at professionals in the music industry. Since its first edition in 2010, it has become an international benchmark for independent music.

Primavera Club

An indoor festival that takes place every fall in several concert halls in Barcelona and offers the opportunity to discover a large number of national and international artists who represent the musical commitment of the near future.


Those born or resident in the Barcelonés region (Barcelona, ​​Sant Adrià del Besòs, Badalona, ​​L'Hospitalet de Llobregat and Santa Coloma de Gramenet) can buy full tickets at a reduced price of € 180 in La Virreina (La Rambla, 99). To be able to access this discount, the buyer must present an identity document that proves either his birth in the Barcelonés or his residence. Only two passes per person.
