Sant Jordi postponed, strange. The busy streets a year ago, empty yesterday. July 23 is the date chosen for them to be filled with books and roses. It is unknown how we will be moving among them. Soon, very soon a timid de-escalation of confinement begins in Spain, so we release the newsletter (timidly too) and return to the traditional format but with online events, or with events that will be held on dates that represent the end to the pandemic or its control by new security measures or by the appearance of the long-awaited medicine or vaccine. D’A – Film Festival
Due to the Covid-19 and the uncertainty of the situation, the organization of the D'A Film Festival Barcelona has decided that the 2020 edition of the festival will not be canceled or postponed. For this reason, they have designed a program adapted to the online medium but which represents the spirit of the festival. From the FILMIN platform, the best international independent cinema, the successful films at festivals around the world and the most emerging Spanish cinema will reach everyone's homes. From April 30 to May 10, the D'A Film Festival Barcelona will present a selection of approximately 35 films, maintaining the Talents award (€ 10,000) for the best film by a director with less than three films in his filmography. They will also maintain the Critics Award and the Audience Award, and the composition of the juries. The D'A FILMIN Pack is priced at € 25.00 and includes a 3-month subscription to FILMIN.
