MIRA.mov: Exploring Visual Languages

The Ideal Digital Arts Center, the first center in southern Europe dedicated to the production and exhibition of digital arts, offers us a monthly cycle of immersive screenings that aims to create a new creative circuit of new digital trends. In it you will see the works of emerging and established artists who work with moving images conceived through techniques such as CGI (computer-generated image), audiovisual immersion, video game engines or 3D digital animation.

This year's edition, the thirteenth, will be online and 75 galleries and about 200 artists will participate. Due to the current situation, the fair can be visited in 3D through a mobile App that will recreate the pavilion and its galleries digitally. The fair seeks to facilitate online collecting through microcredits offered by Fintonic to buy works. To give you an idea of ​​the prices, in this edition the cheapest work costs € 10 and the most expensive € 24,000.

BAUM Fest Hybrid Edition

The IX edition of the BAUM Fest and the XXIII edition of the Barcelona International Tattoo Convention will be held this year in a different way to face a different situation. From the IX edition and the XXIII edition we move on to the 1st edition worldwide of a hybrid festival format of art on skin and urban culture. And what does hybrid mean? Well, the artists, exhibitors and speakers will be in a recording studio that can only be accessed by the media and live broadcast equipment. The fair will be held for two days following a predetermined schedule and those interested will be able to access all the broadcasts and other content online and live through the festival's website.

BAUM Fest Hybrid Edition

For the love of Arts

Sixth edition of the film series For the love of Arts organized by the Filmoteca de Catalunya and the National Art Museum of Catalonia, in collaboration with other important cultural institutions such as the Gran Teatre del Liceu and the Palau de la Música Catalana. This cycle is characterized by using cinema as a tool for dialogue with other artistic disciplines. For the love of the Arts, this year is composed of 37 films, among which we can see "Il Decameron" by Pier Paolo Pasolini, "The Bookshop" by Isabel Coixet, "The Fugitive Kind" by Sidney Lumet or "La maleta mexicana" by Trisha Ziff.

For the love of Arts

William Kentridge. That Which Is Not Drawn

The South African artist William Kentridge (Johannesburg, 1955) is an artist recognized throughout the world for his drawings, films, and theater and opera productions. This exhibition is a unique opportunity to see some of his most emblematic works: the spectacular audiovisual installation More Sweetly Play the Dance (which refers to the original force of shadow theater), nine large-format tapestries, the eleven films of the series by Animation Drawings for Projection and seven drawings on paper.
