In addition to displaying all kinds of products, materials and news related to the disciplines of "Do it Yourself" (DIY), the Handmade Festival Barcelona offers visitors activities and experiences such as workshops and talks. Thread the needle, fold the paper, tighten the screw, cut the wood and savor a sweet or salty tapa.

About Handmade Festival 2022

This year, as usual, you will find exhibitors and activities related to the following topics:

  • Thread: needles, amigurumis -crochet dolls-, patterns, patchwork, wool and sewing machines.
  • Paper: scrapbooking, decoupage, inks, books and paints.
  • Brico-Wood: DIY, home styling and gardening: urban gardens, paintings and tools for furniture restoration.

In addition, on the terrace of the Fira Barcelona space reserved for Handmade Festival Bcn, you can enjoy a Food Market, with foodtrucks and sweet tables, concerts, and activities for the little ones in the house.

Familiar faces of DIY

The 8th edition of the HMF will feature the usual faces, such as Susimiu, who will carry out several crochet workshops; and with other new ones, such as Cartoncita, specializing in paper and cardboard designs; Planeta Dots, a sustainable firm that gives clothing a second life; or Yuko Nakajima, who with her Little Japan project will bring us closer to Japanese culture. They will also feature Itzie Dreams, winner of the Handmade Emprende, and a great benchmark for scrap.

This fair is for professionals and the general public.

We sell beautiful handbeaded items made by the indigenous Mayan Indians from the shores of Lake Atitlan, Guatemala. How do we apply to sell at this lovely festival?
