On the occasion of the 125th anniversary of the birth of the writer and philosopher Walter Benjamin (Berlin, 1892 - Portbou, 1940), this collaborative project has been organized between different institutions and schools of Fine Arts: the Weißensee Kunsthochschule in Berlin - Visuelle Kommunikation. Digitale Medien, the École des Beaux-Arts in Bordeaux, the Llotja d'Arts i Disseny in Barcelona and the Casa de Velázquez in Madrid. Each school has developed for months a workshop in an attempt to reconstruct the lost history, inspired by the Theses of the philosophy of History. The result is an exhibition between the document and the fiction, in which the imaginary suitcases explain both the story of Walter Benjamin and the conception of his thinking.
