Summer nights in CaixaForum


During the months of July and August, at CaixaForum, there will be concerts, shows, exhibitions and movies. This edition begins with the screening of the film "A family affair" by Hirokazu Koreeda, a feature film that won the Palme d'Or at Cannes and was nominated for best non-English speaking film at the Oscars, the Golden Globes and the BAFTA Awards. The CaixaForum Summer Nights will also end with another film, "Ramen Shop" by Eric Khoo, which was in the Culinary Cinema section of the 2018 San Sebastian Film Festival.

As an event to highlight they offer the concert of Ranky Tanky (USA), a quintet from South Carolina (USA) that interprets, in an innovative and contemporary way, the musical traditions of the African-American gullah culture, which was originated in the islands of the southeastern sea of ​​the United States. Check the program, it is full of interesting activities and some are free.

On days with programming, all exhibitions of the CaixaForum art center will be open to the public until 11pm.
