Every Wednesday from July 10 to August 7, there will be monologues, concerts, circus, dance, workshops and much more at CaixaForum. You will also have free access to the exhibition Sound Chromatisms: music for an exhibition.

What can you do at CaixaForum Summer Nights 2024?

The activities of this year's edition are organized in 5 thematic sections:

Humor Night (July 10).

At CaixaForum Barcelona's Night of Humor, attendees will be able to enjoy an evening full of laughter and entertainment. This event includes performances by prominent humorists such as Andrés Fajngold, Irene Francolí, and Asaari Bibang, among others. The evening promises a mix of fresh, provocative and improvisational humor. In addition, there will be interactive activities such as drawing and sharing, along with sound proposals to accompany the visit to the exhibitions. This event is a perfect opportunity to enjoy a fun and different night.

Night of Magic (July 17)

At the Night of Magic, attendees will enjoy an evening full of illusions and amazement. The event includes a magic workshop taught by Pau Martínez, magic and humor shows with Pere Rafart, and a performance by Joana Andreu and Mag Caru. In addition, there will be micro-concerts with the trio De los Jardines, and the play "Dentro de lo Invisible" by Juan Esteban Varela. There will also be a performance by Gisell and Mag Lari's magic show, "Strafalari".

Dance Night (July 24)

The Night of Dance promises a vibrant and varied evening. Attendees will be able to enjoy "A lecture danced" by Toni Joda, who will illustrate current dance trends with humor and creativity. Carla Sisteré and Anna Sagrera will present "The Sad-Mad Method", exploring emotions through energetic choreography. In addition, "OTEMPODIZ" will offer a vision of the power of time and dance. There will also be a body percussion workshop and a micro-concert by the trio Perez, Fumero & Arnedo. The evening will conclude with "Together to get there," a show celebrating connection and wordless communication through dance.

Circus Night (July 31)

Circus Night will offer a fascinating and varied experience for all attendees. Participants will be able to enjoy a juggling workshop-performance by the Moi Jordana company, a contemporary dance show with "Entre-Cordes" by Modo Grosso, and the endearing story "Parade, the circus of the brave" about Babar the elephant. In addition, the Balkan Paradise Orchestra will present its new album "Nectar" in a vibrant concert.

Game Night (August 7)

This night invites people of all ages to participate in a variety of playful activities, encouraging creativity and fun regardless of age. Attendees will be able to enjoy free and guided games, shows and interactive proposals. In addition, they will be able to explore "Sound Chromatisms", a sound experience inside the exhibition halls. It is a perfect opportunity to share moments of joy and play with family or friends.

About the exhibition Sound Chromatisms. Music for an exhibition A sound intervention to change the way of visiting an exhibition (from July 10 to August 7).

The exhibition "Sound Chromatisms" at CaixaForum Barcelona offers an immersive experience where music transforms the way of visiting an art exhibition. Visitors can choose from three sound palettes (blue, red and green) that accompany their visit with diverse emotions and musical styles, from introspection to celebration and cultural discovery. Available from July 10 to August 7 from 6:30 p.m., this intervention promises a new way to feel and enjoy art.

Most of the events are free (for some you will need to book) and others are priced at 4, 6 or 9 €. To visit the exhibitions you have to reserve a day and time.
