The Live Room Conservatori Liceu offers every Wednesday the concerts of the great groups of the Department of Jazz and Modern Music of the Conservatori Superior Liceu, such as The Liceu Jazz Grup, made up of some of the most outstanding students of the Conservatory, who work on a very demanding repertoire under the direction of one of the most important Jazz musicians on the current scene, saxophonist Bill McHenry, who is also a professor at the Conservatori Liceu.
On Thursdays, continuing with jazz, it is the turn of the Liceu Jam Sessions cycle, also from the Department of Jazz and Modern Music of the Conservatori Superior Liceu. In this cycle, students are directed by a different Conservatori teacher each week and share the stage with other musicians, in this way they have the possibility of gaining experience in front of the public. Each concert ends with a jam session open to everyone.
