Trade fair/Congress

The first edition of Contemporània High Craftsmanship is born, an innovative international fair focused on promoting excellence in high craftsmanship. The event, to be held at the Palau de Pedralbes in Barcelona, is promoted by the Consorci de Comerç, Artesania i Moda (CCAM) of the Generalitat de Catalunya, and the cultural manager and curator Le Département.

More than 130 leading professionals from around the world will be presenting their creative proposals at this event. Among the participants are 12 winners of international art jewelry fairs, along with 23 talented artisans and artists represented by three prestigious galleries: Siat Gallery, Han Collection and Ruben Torres Gallery. In addition, the event will feature 33 artists from five different collectives: Sudakas Chile, JORGC, Bound by Jewellery Czech Republic, A Circulation by Shanghai China and Sichuan Fine Arts. Also joining the event will be 26 professionals from four international craft institutions: World Crafts Council Europe, Consorci de Comerç, Artesania i Moda de Catalunya (CCAM), EOI-Fundesarte and World Crafts Council Africa.

Within the framework of Contemporània, on September 29 will be held the III Professional Congress of Crafts, promoted by the CCAM. Under the slogan "The World of Luxury Celebrates Crafts: Prescribers, Markets and Connections," this congress promises to be a valuable platform for discussion and the exchange of ideas.

Additionally, the event will include an OFF circuit offering exhibitions throughout the city, expanding Contemporània's influence beyond the confines of Pedralbes Palace.

The Contemporània fair is aimed at the general public and is free to attend. The III Professional Crafts Congress is aimed at craft professionals, is free and requires prior registration here.
