Salón Náutico Internacional de Barcelona

Trade fair/Congress

The Salón Náutico Internacional de Barcelona (Barcelona International Boat Show), organized by Fira de Barcelona with the collaboration of the National Association of Nautical Companies (ANEN), exhibits the largest and most varied commercial offer in Spain in nautical sports and recreation. This show is the best commercial showcase of Spanish nautical with the presence of the main national and international brands, and is consolidated as the largest professional platform in the sector.

The Boat Show was born in 1962 and is a founding member since that year of the International Federation Boat Show Organizers (IFBSO). For many years the event was held in the pavilions of Fira Barcelona but being Barcelona a city with sea and marinas, the transfer of the fair by the sea seemed logical.

The 59th edition of the Salón Náutico Internacional de Barcelona (2021)

The 2021 edition of the Boat Show aims to help consolidate the reactivation of the sector, whose sales (data from Anen) have grown by 15.86% from January to May of this year compared to the same period in 2019. It also focuses its efforts on recover international nautical tourism.

Blue economy

As already happened in the 2019 edition, the Boat Show has among its main objectives to stimulate the ecological transition of the sector through innovation and the blue economy. This objective is specified in the exhibition of sustainable boats and initiatives. In addition, it will organize the third edition of the Nautic Tech International Investment Forum, where the most disruptive startups in the nautical world will be given visibility. And in the Espai de Mar conference space, the latest advances in the field of innovation and sustainability in the marine field will be announced.

Sports boating

In order to reach new audiences throughout Spain and support the development of nautical sports, the Boat Show has become the sponsor of a series of sporting events that have taken place this summer and that will culminate with the Copa del Rey de Motonáutica (Mazarrón, Murcia, from October 8 to 10).
