Poblenou Open Night

Poblenou Urban District, the private association founded in 2012 to promote the creative and cultural community of Poblenou, offers us the tenth edition of Poblenou Open Night. From 19:00 to 24:00 h, in the Poblenou neighborhood you will find a wide variety of free cultural proposals and special promotions organized by more than forty spaces, partners of Poblenou Urban District: art galleries, artists' studios, creation centers, audiovisual production companies, gastronomic spaces, stores, concert halls and hotels.

The Urban Block Party, exhibitions and art shows will be the main protagonists of the event, but you will also find immersive experiences, an animation festival, concerts in concert halls and unique spaces, theater and a gastronomic route for dinner, tapas or just a cold beer.

Highlights of Poblenou Open Night 2022 activities

Urban Block Party

At the Urban Block Party on Zamora street you can celebrate the tenth anniversary of Poblenou Urban District and Atim with live music and a light installation. The street will be transformed into a fun space for dancing and sharing. Upon entering you will be greeted by a spectacular light installation by Protopixel, a professional lighting design platform. In the gastronomic space of the Urban Block Party, food will be provided by Deligotessen with its Mexican gastronomy proposal: cochinita pibil, fully loaded nachos, kimchi quesadillas, and other delicacies. FX Animation Film Fest

FX ANIMATION Barcelona offers this Poblenou Open Night activities related to the world of cinema, 3D, concept art, animation and video games. There will be a screening of short films of fiction, drama, action ... a selection of the 8 best shorts of FXFF (FX ANIMATION Film Fest) open to the public. In the evening, we will be able to enjoy DJ + bar service on the wonderful terrace of the school. ScheduleFrom 19:00 to 24:00 h.

BAU Granada Building Light Art Party

In the new Granada Building of the BAU Centre Universitari de Barcelona you will discover a light installation of the Aulumni master in audiovisual innovation of BAU. In addition, there will be a program with DJ's and a point of sale of the artists of Windows Art Circuit / WAC of Poblenou Urban District. ScheduleFrom 19:00 to 24:00 h.

Featured exhibitions

• Disseny Hub Barcelona offers an open day to visit the permanent exhibitions of the Design Museum and the temporary exhibition "Toquem Fusta! Disseny, Fusta i sostenibilitat". Opening hours: from 10:00 to 20:00 h.
• La Plataforma, art gallery and production studio, transforms its space into an art installation where the public can interact within the work and enjoy a DJ session, cocktails and gastronomy. Hours: from 7:00 p.m. to 12:00 p.m.
• L&B Contemporary Art, opens the exhibition Geosmina by Xavi Muñoz, an artist who likes to investigate the emotional participation of the public. ScheduleFrom 19:00 to 24:00 h.
• Chez Xefo, art gallery that has programmed the exhibition OBS-CE-NA by Arantxa Garcia, who studies the beauty and violence against women. Hoursfrom 17:00 to 24:00 h.
• The Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia (IAAC) will open the doors of its laboratory (Fab Lab Barcelona) to show the results of their research. HoursFrom 19:00 to 22:00 h.
