Ten years have passed since NonStop Barcelona Animació appeared on the cultural scene in Barcelona, first as a show, then as a festival. In 2019, it continues its stable relationship with Mecal, International Short Film and Animation Festival of Barcelona, which starts on the same day as NonStop.
The purpose of this animation festival is to join forces and offer the public a solid poster of screenings and activities. Its philosophy continues to be to bring animation to a heterogeneous audience and to connect young talents with the industry through different events, such as the Elevator Pitch, a meeting in which those who start will have the opportunity to present their projects before a group of renowned producers and international experts. The NonStop programming is completed with master classes, workshops, screenings and activities related to the world of animation.
