Live Spring at Poble Espanyol

Poble Espanyol dresses up for spring from April 2 to June 26, offering a program of family activities. At the emblematic Montjuïc venue you can see the exhibition "1977-2022 A Galaxy Far Away", a private collection of exclusive original material on characters and unforgettable moments from the most famous film saga; family shows and craft workshops related to spring, such as Jurassic Jones, a participatory show-installation that encourages families to discover the fascinating universe of dinosaur fossils; proposals aimed at the adult public such as the Picnic Beat concert cycle, the Hipnotik Festival of hip hop and urban culture; and the already traditional Biergarten, dedicated to beer and German gastronomy.

All activities are included in admission to the venue: an open-air architectural environment made up of more than 100 buildings, the Fran Daurel museum of contemporary art, audiovisual installations related to traditions and giant slides. Please note that, even if it is included, you will need to reserve access to the "1977-2022 A Galaxy Far Far Away" exhibition during the purchase process.

1977-2022 a galaxy far, far away

Collectors, the curious and lovers of science fiction will have the opportunity to enjoy the universe of the saga in this exhibition full of life-size replicas, statues, busts, autographs, dioramas, original storyboards, objects, props, costumes used in filming from the movies and a long list of fan-owned collectibles from the galactic universe.

Jurassic-Jones

The protagonists of this scenic proposal that combines a 30-minute show and a participatory activity are Elisabeth Jones and her sisters, outstanding paleontologists and granddaughters of the famous archaeologist. Together with the assistants, they will unearth a 12-meter T-Rex skeleton.

Picnic Beat

Organized by Sala Upload and Poble Espanyol, this cycle will include performances by bands like Metius, Mohama Saz, Tito Ramírez or Hijos del Trueno and DJs like Raquel Bang Bang or Txarly Brown.

Hipnotic Festival

Starting in May, the Hipnotik Festival will feature Hip-Hop sessions, competitions, dances and conferences around urban culture.

Biergarten

The ninth edition of the Biergarten, the most authentic beer event in Barcelona, ​​will feature a wide range of German beers and gastronomic proposals, as well as competitions, tastings, workshops and lots of music.
