About the 2025 edition of Guitar BCN
Guitar BCN 2025 kicks off the year with its hallmark essence: exploring and fostering artists' growth. Highlights include Antoñito Molina, opening the festival at the Sant Jordi Club after a successful performance at Apolo last year, and Viva Suecia, who sold out tickets in just one hour for their debut at the Gran Teatre del Liceu, celebrating 10 years of their career.
Among the big names, Santana, the legend of Latin rock, returns to Barcelona after two decades to perform at the Palau Sant Jordi, commemorating the 25th anniversary of the Supernatural tour. Iván Ferreiro and Xoel López will debut at l’Hivernacle del Poble Espanyol, while Stay Homas will fill three dates at the same venue before taking an indefinite break. Adrià Salas will present his solo album at Apolo [2], and Bebe, celebrating Pafuera telarañas, will perform at the Apolo. Carlos Sadness will debut at the Palau de la Música Catalana, promising a magical evening, and at the Auditori del Fòrum, Coque Malla will celebrate 40 years of his career, while Valeria Castro will showcase her second album, El cuerpo después de todo.
Califato 3/4 and Rodrigo Cuevas will make their festival debuts at Razzmatazz, along with Marlena presenting their new album. Marina Reche, with sold-out tickets, will also debut at the Poble Nou venue.
The Palau de la Música Catalana will host El Kanka, pianists Tony Ann and Hania Rani, and the great Ana Belén. Meanwhile, Jason Mraz will close the festival in September with an intimate concert.
Els Amics de les Arts will celebrate 20 years of friendship at the Poble Espanyol, and Amaral will rock the Sant Jordi Club with their new album Dolce Vita.
This Guitar BCN 2025 is dedicated to Joan Roselló, the soul of the festival, who passed away on October 21st. His memory will live on in every moment of the festival. Blue Eyes forever.
With a variety of genres and artists, Guitar Bcn 2025 promises to be a unique and exciting musical experience.
