The Verdi cinemas of Barcelona program outstanding documentaries about painting, from the Exhibition On Screen label, a label that works with the best international museums and galleries, with the aim of offering films accompanied by ideas from the world's leading historians and art critics. Every Tuesday, three passes so you don't have excuses for the schedule: at 11:30 a.m. and at 6:10 p.m.
The documentaries deal with a painter's work in general, his life, the historical context in which he developed his work, his technique, the influence of a place in his work, his relationship with the other arts, some specific aspect of his paintings and of his obsessions, or about the great art galleries of the world like the Prado Museum or the Hermitage.
