Catalan Wine Week

Catalan Wine Week is an annual event whose objective is to publicize and promote wines in Catalonia. The activities, face-to-face and virtual, take place throughout Catalonia and allow us to discover the immense variety and richness of the sector. The programming is open and participatory, since it is the Denominations of Origin, wineries, wine shops, restaurants and associations that participate who, together with INCAVI, organize the activities.

This year, once again, the Week is part of the Gastronomic Forum Barcelona contest and will feature a key event: the Catalan Wine Showroom, organized by PRODECA with the collaboration of INCAVI.

The Catalan Wine Week program

The program is divided into five large sections:

Wine tourism

Guided tours in the vineyards or in the wineries.

Gastronomy and restoration

Sommeliers, restaurateurs, chefs who offer pairings, dishes, menus and gastronomic activities with Catalan wines.

Commercial activities

Activities organized by wine shops and outlets that may also offer discounts.

Culture and wine

Workshops, poetry readings, concerts, exhibitions ... cultural events that help promote Catalan wines, agriculture, local products and gastronomy.

Informative activities

Talks, workshops, conferences, spaces dedicated to Catalan wines in other spaces such as libraries.
