The B-Anime Film Festival aims to show the public of Barcelona the most outstanding anime titles that premiere in Japan and do not reach the movie theaters of our city for commercial reasons. As a reference to mention that in the Asian country an average of 70 films of this popular genre are released. Among the titles that we can enjoy, of great artistic quality, are those that have been selected or awarded at various festivals around the world.
The aim of this festival is also to show the cultural value of the films and to generate a debate between amateurs and professionals, with the audiovisual reality of the anime as background. To achieve this, special programs and parallel activities are organized.
In this year's edition will be screened such important anime as "Death Note, the vision of a god", "Mazinger Z Infinity", "Gurren Lagan, the end of childhood" or "King of Thorns". The Kids section takes force with titles like "Friends - Adventure in the island of monsters", "The journey of Agartha", "Rudolf the Black cat" and "The summer of Coo".
All the films in the Kids section will be shown in the Biblioteca el Clot and the rest in the Design Museum Auditorium. Both cultural centers are in the same space. To be able to see the films you have to collect before the tickets (free) in the Biblioteca (library).
