Ombra Festival

Ombra is a project of the WeareWe agency and the Oraculo Records label whose objective is to create a meeting place for lovers of analog and avant-garde sounds that do not fit into the current cultural offer. Ombra is a unique Barcelona festival in its category and an ideal alternative for lovers of experimental electronic music, specializing in darkwave, synthwave and industrial music.

Ombra is the festival dedicated to the darkest and most intrinsic part of electronic music.

Ombra Festival 2021 Edition

The opening day of Ombra will be held this year in the old La Modelo prison, which will host a concert by Juan Manuel Cidrón, a talent already veteran of Spanish electronic music since the early eighties. Cidrón will be accompanied by La Fura dels Baus, who will perform one of his spectacular artistic interventions. Along with them, there will also be the local artist Tutu, who will be in charge of the musical setting. In addition, LiveSoundtracks and Erika Lust will offer us a visual proposal with a selection of the most erotic and artistic shorts from Else Cinema, set to music live by She's on Tape (aka Mimik).

The opening day will also feature other artistic proposals -from musical workshops for children, to the construction of synthesizers- that will be held between 12:00 and 21:30.

Access to the venue will be free and will be done in order of arrival until full capacity is reached (limited to 400 people).
