Offside Fest is a traveling international festival of football documentaries that started in Barcelona in 2014, and has passed or will pass through Thessaloniki, Milan and Lisbon. This year it reaches its seventh edition, and will be held again in Barcelona.
The Offside Fest, already consolidated in the international circuit of soccer documentary festivals whose objective is to understand sport as a cultural phenomenon, will again present a careful selection of works in two sections, the official one in competition and special sessions in which they will be screened the documentaries "89", "George Best: All by himself" and "The Making of: Mourinho".
This year the Offside Fest 2020 will be held at the Cinemes Girona and at the Antiga Fàbrica Estrella Damm, and an online edition will be available on Filmin with the seven titles in official competition and three outstanding short films in the program.
The opening session, which will be free with registration, will consist of a homage talk to Michael Robinson with John Carlin, Ramon Besa and Gemma Herrero.
