Jazz&Soul Nights

The Mas Ravetllat-Pla, one of the buildings of the Ramón Pla Armengol Foundation, houses one of the most valuable private furniture collections in the world. Made up of more than 800 pieces, especially Spanish furniture from the 17th and 18th centuries, it contains unique pieces. The architect of this impressive collection was the doctor Nuria Pla Monseny, daughter of the also doctor Ramon Pla, who together with his partner Joaquim Ravellat built Mas Ravetllat-Pla, following the design created in 1930 by Adolf Florensa, an architect who moved in Noucentista classicism and that was influenced by the Chicago school.

The "Jazz & Soul Nights" cycle, which is held throughout the year, will allow you to discover the furniture collection and enjoy concerts in very special evenings. The event starts at 8:15 p.m. with a one-hour guided tour of the Mas Ravetllat-Pla building and the collection, and then you can attend a Jazz & Soul concert performed by international musicians and groups, such as Sevine - Cherie B, a group specialized in chanson français and boleros. The groups Ster Wax and Boogie, Koko-Jean Davis and Friends and Augie Burr’s R’N’R Trio will also perform.

Keep in mind that access to the building is from the park that surrounds the house.
