The Urban Culture Festival "BAUM Fest" is a reference in Spain of urban culture attended by about 18,000 people. It is an event with the latest news and a unique exhibition of disciplines related to urban art. During 3 days you can enjoy competitions and shows of Graffiti, Break Dance, Dj Set, Concerts, BMX, Inline, Skate, Flatland, Parkour, Bike Show and an Urban Art Festival. The activities and shows of BAUM Fest follow each other at a fast pace under the buzz of the tattoo machines, the smell of ink and the music of the DJs. BAUM Fest is what comes from the street transformed by the best talents of urban art, wrapped in the smell of tires of the motorcycles, and in the shine of their chassis. In addition to these activities, Baum Fest organizes workshops and seminars for all ages and for all audiences.
New features of the 2025 edition
Baum Fest Barcelona 2025 arrives with important new features. This year sees the premiere of spaces that reinforce the fusion between art, music, sport and creativity. Let's see:
- INFLUYE - What is not erased: new area dedicated to freestyle, urban rap and poetry, with open mic, exhibition battles, beatboxing and a special closing with DJ Eterno Sound (Rapsusklei).
- Barber Contest: first official barber competition at the festival, with professional and amateur categories, live demonstrations and prizes for the best style.
- Muay Thai Zone: four fighters per weight tournaments, traditional rituals, music and tribute to the spiritual roots of Thai tattooing.
- Art Kids: graffiti workshops, temporary tattoos and creative activities for the little ones to experience urban art.
- Finger Skate & BMX Flatland: international BMX flatland competition and fingerboard space with top riders.
- Artisans Made in Barcelona: local artists will show and sell their unique pieces, sharing their creative process live.
- Live painting: outstanding creators of the contemporary scene will work in front of the public, in an immersive experience that combines art and spectacle.
Barcelona International Tattoo Convention - Barcelona Tattoo Expo
Within the framework of BAUM Fest, the Barcelona International Tattoo Convention is held, which this year reaches its 28th edition. The Barcelona Tattoo Expo, increasingly consolidated, has already brought together more than 5000 professional tattoo artists from around the world since it began its first edition in Cocheras de Sants. All the tattoo artists have tattooed live during the convention. This year, the Barcelona Tattoo Expo brings together more than 200 artists from different styles of the tattoo world. Each artist works in a box conditioned with the maximum hygienic measures and in a suitable environment to serve the public.
Market
The Village Baum Fest is a space for the exhibition and sale of exclusive products related to the trends of the festival. There will be exhibitors of tattoos, components, spare parts and accessories "Tattoo Supplies". It will also include clothing brands, accessories, specialized bookstores and an area dedicated to the Custom engine, with workshops and distributors. In addition, there will be a Gastronomic Zone with food trucks and bar service.
Since 1996, BAUM Fest has defended the normalization of the different urban trends and has played a fundamental role in the evolution and professionalization of the tattoo scene.
