Antoni Capella Contra (1934-2005) was a professional photographer who developed his work between Barcelona and Calafell. Besides working as a studio photographer, he documented relevant social events of the Barcelona society for various media like Radio Barcelona, the magazine Hello! and the clubs Terrace Martini. The photographs in this exhibition are from the years 1955-1980 and form part of the extensive documentary material which the Antoni Capella family donated to the Photographic Archive of Barcelona in 2010.
