The Dalmau brothers, Custo and David began in the fashion world in the early eighties. Thanks to the T-shirts with tropical and surfers motifs, that even sold door to door in the United States, they founded the Custo Line brand. This brand was the basis of Custo Barcelona, the brand of different, original and innovative style they created in 1996. Custo and David were the first designers who made stamped T-shirts, which caught the attention of the Spring / Summer Fashion Week in New York, to which they were invited. There began its popularity in the United States. His shirts conquered the American market when the characters of television series like Friends or Sex in New York, and celebrities such as Claudia Schiffer, Brad Pitt, Julia Roberts, Natalie Portman, Penelope Cruz or Madonna began to wear Custo T-shirts. Since then, the United States has remained its main market, ahead of the European market.
Although t-shirts are still its most important product, today Custo has other fashion lines.
