The Apollon Musagète Quartett was formed in 2006 in Vienna and was winning competitions all over Europe two years later. This is its second visit to Barcelona and the ensemble offers a extraordinary program with works byJosef Haydn, Karol Szymanowski, Edvard Grieg and Balakirew’s curious transcription of one of Frederic Chopin’s magnificent studies for piano. Concert framed within the Polish Music Festival in Catalonia, co-financed by Ministry of Culture and Heritage of the Republic of Poland, held from 15 to 23 October in Barcelona and Vic.
