The Night of the Museums is an initiative of the Council of Europe that this year reaches its 17th edition. Thousands of museums in more than forty countries open their doors to the public. In Barcelona and its metropolitan area (Badalona, Cornellà, Esplugues, L'Hospitalet, Sant Adrià, Sant Joan Despí, Santa Coloma), 87 cultural centers will be open free of charge from 7:00 p.m. on May 18 until 1:00 a.m. on May 19. But on the Night of the Museums, in addition to visiting them, you can also participate in numerous activities for all ages. To make the cultural experience complete, there are temporary exhibitions, concerts, dance, poetry, guided and dramatized tours, treasure hunts, workshops and a correfoc. In total, you will have access to 171 activities.

To access some spaces or to attend some activities or exhibitions you may have to make a reservation in advance.
