Barcelona has hosted every summer and since 2008, the main gay pride celebration in the Mediterranean, attended by more than 380,000 people each year (under normal circumstances). Pride Barcelona is a non-profit event, both festive and demanding in favor of the rights of the LGTBI collective and offers a careful selection of activities: talks, seminars, cinema, artistic exhibitions, shows ... and during the night, in addition, the night bars, discos and saunas of the city hold special parties.

The 2022 edition of Pride Barcelona

This year's motto is "Bollomami", a motto that aims to give visibility to diversity, the daily challenges and desires of lesbians, and to continue naturalizing and creating references with the most powerful tool: visibility.

The opening ceremony, which can only be attended by invitation, will be on June 15. In this edition, among other activities, we will have a Trans Vermouth in the Gaixample with musical and cultural activities; an LGTBIQ+ festival night also at the Gaixamble; the Pride Kids with workshops, inflatable games and other activities: and a crazy high heels race with a prize of €300 for whoever crosses the finish line in first position.

The celebration of the Pride and the Village

On June 24 at 8:00 p.m., on the Pride stage on Avenida Reina María Cristina, this year's party begins. On June 25, the Village will open its doors with the presence of the main LGTBIQ+ entities in the city:

  • The Commercial Village, with stands of local businesses and small producers.
  • The bar and restaurant area, where you can have a drink or find real street food.
  • The main stage, where the Pride concerts are held.

The Village will be open from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 a.m.

The culminating moment, the demonstration

The most vindictive action of the Pride, the demonstration, will take place on Saturday June 25 between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. The start will take place in the Parc de les Tres Xemeneies and the demonstration will run along Avenida del Paral·lel until reaching Plaza Espanya, where the manifesto will be read at 8:00 p.m
