The Harlem Jazz Club Blues Jam Session is considered one of the most important in Europe. In front, Chino Swingslide, guitarist, singer and composer of swing, blues and early jazz from Barcelona, whose quality allows him to perform on the stages of the most outstanding festivals in Europe; he is also one of the few bluesmen who also performs on stage in the USA. When Chino is not in Barcelona, he takes over from Martín Burguez, another of Barcelona's most reputable blues and early jazz guitarists and singers. Chino and Burguez surround themselves with a handful of good collaborating musicians, and in each jam other guest musicians join.
These jams are an excellent opportunity to enjoy great artists on a stage capable of generating great complicity between musicians and attendees. As the prestigious music critic James T. Taylor says, "Tuesday nights in Barcelona would be very sad without the Harlem Jazz Club's Blues Jam Session".
