Still today, 795 million people live with the constant threat of hunger, and the worst of all is that acute malnutrition is the second cause of infant mortality although its causes are known and the solution is simple and economical. However, only one in ten malnourished children have access to adequate treatment to recover. Acción contra el Hambre works to try to prevent any child from dying of hunger, and among the actions carried out is Restaurants Against Hunger, organized in collaboration with the Spanish Hospitality Federation and represents the largest initiative of solidarity of the hospitality in Spain.
The restaurants adhering to this initiative (access the list below) serve the so-called "dishes that feed the most". For each one you choose as a client, the restaurant will donate € 0.5 to € 2 for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of malnutrition.
In the last edition, the eighth, € 195,000 was raised with this initiative.
