The dramatic opera Carmen by Georges Bizet, one of the most acclaimed and performed daily throughout the world, will be in Barcelona from Sunday March 5. The representation will be at the Palau de la Música Catalana in different sessions.

Carmen is an opera technically known as repertory opera. His penetrating and seductive music is a combination of different styles ranging from the most classic French romanticism to the most beautiful melodies inspired by Spanish folklore. This two and a half hour staged version with intermission features a symphony orchestra, soloists and choir; in total more than 60 artists on stage.
