The Nassos Race


A few hours before saying goodbye to the year, the last popular race of the year is organized in Barcelona: the last sprint before the end of the year bells to welcome the year 2020. The Origin of the Nassos Race

The Nassos Race began to take place in 1999 under the name San Silvestre Barcelonesa, until in 2004 it took the current name. The Sant Silvestre Barcelonesa was born at the initiative of the technical director of the Club Natació Montjuïc, Domingo López. In 2005 it adopted the denomination of Nassos-Sant Silvestre of Barcelona Race, ​​in reference to the popular character of the Catalan tradition that appears on December 31.
