Over 30 years the artist Lourdes Grobet has ventured into the world of one of the most popular sports in Mexico that also represents a unique social phenomenon in the world: The Wrestling, a manifestation of Mexican popular culture, originated in ancient times, associated with ritual, linked to the theatrical world and deeply identified with the social phenomena of today. The photo project leaves the ring and goes to households, family reunion sites and celebrations of men and women wrestlers.

The exhibition consists of an unpublished number of over forty large-format photographs, complemented by the screening of material from the vast photographic collection of the artist on the subject. The exhibition also includes a mural intervention by Valiñas Miguel and pieces by Felix Blume, an artist who collaborates with Francis Alÿs in sound art projects, and the screening of films in daily sessions of the sixties and seventies, now cult material, featuring El Santo.
