On August 24, FC Barcelona and Manchester City will play a charity match at the Camp Nou, the aim of which is to give visibility to the disease ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) and raise funds to promote medical research into this incurable neurodegenerative disease. One of the main promoters of the initiative has been Juan Carlos Unzué, who has suffered from the disease for almost two years.

Barça and City have met so far in 12 matches. Xavi's team has achieved eight wins, Manchester City three wins and one match ended in a draw.

All proceeds raised by the party will go to the Luzon Foundation. A great match, for a good cause.
