The Atlántida Film Fest, held in Palma de Mallorca and which can be viewed online through the Filmin platform, celebrates this mini-closing cycle in Barcelona and in the open air with the collaboration of Piramidón Centre d'Art Contemporani.
On July 23, 24 and 25, we will enjoy three special sessions on the roof of the Piramidón, where you can see some of the premieres of this year's Atlantis Film Fest: "Only you", "Sons of Denmark" and "Stitches". The sessions are free although you have to reserve a place. From 9:00 p.m. you can discover this unique place with 360º views, which can be visited before the screening and where you can also have a beer while watching Barcelona. At 9:45 p.m., all the sessions begin.
On July 23, the first session of this cycle arrives with "Only you" (Harry Wootliff · 2018 · 119 min), debut with extraordinary performances by Josh O'Connor ("The Durrell") and Laia Costa ("Victoria") and a universal theme: how a couple faces the dilemma of having their first child or not. July 24 will be the turn of "Sons of Denmark" (Ulaa Salim · 2019 · 120 min), an ambitious and controversial police thriller focused on conflicts with immigration, religion and the extreme right in Europe after an attack in Copenhagen. And, finally, on July 25 we will be able to see "Stitches" (Miroslav Terzic · 2019 · 105m), winner of the Public Prize in Berlin. A dramatic thriller that tells the story of the scandal of the children stolen in the former Yugoslavia through a mother in her fight against the State.
