The Poble Espanyol, as every year, dresses up for Christmas and becomes a space to live it in the most traditional way. In addition to the attractions of Poble Espanyol, during these days, the little ones can deliver their letters with their wishes at Santa Claus ' house or to the Their Majesties the Three Wise Men (from December 26).
Activities for the whole family at Christmas at Poble Espanyol
Christmas returns to Poble Espanyol with some of its traditional activities and many novelties. There will be more than 20 corners decorated with scenes and characters emblematic of the Christmas holidays that will trace a path dedicated to the wishes.
With the entrance to the enclosure attendees can enjoy numerous family activities of music, theater and circus: living nativity scenes, five Rock&Kids concerts, in which tribute bands will adapt the greatest hits of mythical rock groups so that boys and girls will have as much fun as their parents; and performances by the group Ballalacanalla (animation and traditional games); Karkocha (mime and clown, one of the greatest exponents of the world of circus street art), the magician Magico Pablo Big and Lady Circus (circus). In addition, there will be DJ sessions and the possibility of quick craft workshops.
The Winter acrobatic dance show
Winter is a show of dance, theater and acrobatics starring young dancers. It is an endearing, funny story with an environmental background in which Alice discovers that winter has disappeared and that Christmas is not what it used to be... and seeks the solution to save winter and the planet. Christmas Nights: a new series of concerts
Musical cycle that will be held from December 2 to 29 combines music and Christmas spirit. There will be 9 concerts of three different musical styles. Thursdays will be the turn of Christmas Blues, with live performances by renowned local blues bands; Fridays are reserved for Christmas P! Opera, where the Petita Companyia Lírica de Barcelona will perform typical Christmas songs: and on Saturdays comes Christmas Gospel by one of the most renowned gospel choirs of the Catalan scene: Messengers. Tickets to the concerts include access to Christmas in the Poble from 6:30 pm and are already on sale. from 15,00 €.. The concerts will begin at 20:30 h.
Children from 0 to 3 years old will have free admission (in the shows, they will have free admission as long as they do not occupy a seat).
