The second edition of the Mahou Bravas Fest Barcelona is here, where you can find the best patatas bravas in Barcelona in a single space. During one weekend, 11 emblematic restaurants of the city will cook their bravas and other tapas in Poble Espanyol : Bar Córdoba, La Esquinica, Montesquiu, Señor Vermut, Bar Marcel, Acero, El Sueño, Platillo Volador, Pepa Tomate, Rooster and Bubbles and Marcelino 1968 . Each bravas tapa will be paired with a different Mahou beer.
Award for the best bravas in Barcelona
Throughout the weekend the restaurants will offer their bravas tapas and attendees will have the opportunity to rate which ones they like the most. In addition, a jury made up of great professionals in the gastronomic sector will also evaluate all the participants; Among the professionals will be chef Rafa Antonín (known on Instagram as @rafuel55, with more than 790 thousand followers) and Ada Parellada (Catalan chef known for running the Barcelona restaurant Semproniana and with more than 50 thousand followers on IG). At the end of the event, two prizes will be awarded: one awarded by the vote of the attendees and one by the vote of the professionals.
Beyond the bravas potatoes
Each participating restaurant will also offer a star tapa from its location (between €5.00 and €15.00). This tapa will complete the visitors' experience and will delight the most demanding palates. The gastronomic experience will be complemented with live music, DJs and raffles such as the Braves Passport, in which attendees will be able to win their weight in Mahou 5 Star beer. In addition, other activities will be carried out such as tastings and workshops, and there will be stalls selling gastronomic products such as coffee, hot sauces, oils, potatoes or ice cream.
All bravas tastings will cost €3.50. Access to the event includes a visit to the entire Poble Espanyol.
