FROM BARCELONA EL PRAT AIRPORT
Barcelona Airport "El Prat" lies 12 km south of the city
on the coast. These is a tourist information desk. You can travel
to the city by bus, train or taxi.

BUS:
The bus is called the "AEROBUS"
and has a blue colour. There is a stop in front of each
of the 3 terminal buildings. The bus operates on a loop
between the airport and Plaza de Catalunya (centre of Barcelona).
The stops from the airport:

- Gran Via Corts Catalanes / Comte d'Urgell,
- Plaza Universitat
- Plaza Catalunya
From Plaça Catalunya to the airport:
- Plaza Catalunya (in front of the main El Corte Inglés
building)

- Estacio de Sants,

TAXI:
Barcelona taxis are easily spotted with their yellow and black livery.
There are taxi ranks outside each terminal building. The journey
into the city takes around 20 minutes and costs around EUR 25,--.
There is a maximum of 4 passengers per taxi. A green light on the
roof shows if they are available. There are taxi ranks where they
wait for passengers, for instance at Plaza Catalunya near to Las
Ramblas. However the simplest way is to wait until you see one with
a green light, then stick out your arm.
Taxis operate 24 hours a day.
Taxis can be called by 'phone. The service is usually fast and reliable.
If you need a taxi from a restaurant the staff will usually call
for you.
Only pay according to the meter, taxis cannot charge a fixed fare. |

TRAIN:
There is a bridge with travelator linking the station with the terminal
buildings.
Stations (with corresponding Metro stations):
- Sants Central station (Plaza de Sants, near to Plaza d'Espanya)
- Passeig de Gracia (centre of Barcelona)
- Clot-Arago (Av. Meridiana, near to Plaza de les Glories)
Operating hours: Monday to Sunday 6:13am to 22:40pm
Journey time: 25 minutes to Plaza de Catalunya

FROM GIRONA - COSTABRAVA AIRPORT
Girona Costa Brava Airport lies 85 kilometres away from Barcelona.
From Barcelona - Girona airport you can take a bus that will take
to you to the Barcelona city centre (Estació of the Nord).
The buses are coordinated with Ryanair. The duration of the passage
is 70 minutes.

RYANAIR
FROM REUS AIRPORT
Reus airport is approximately 110 km from Barcelona. From Reus airport
you can take a bus that will take to you to the Barcelona city centre
(Estació of Sants). The buses are coordinated with Ryanair,
Airberlin, etc. The duration of the passage is 90 minutes.

Arriving by car 
The
Spanish autopista system (freeways or motorways) connects with Barcelona's
"Rondes". These are fast highways which ring and cross the city.
There are many exits leading to different parts of the city. |

AV. MERIDIANA:
Connects with autopista C-33 and C-33 connects with A-P7, the main
route North. Avinguda Meridiana leads to Plaça de les Glòries,
which connects with Avinguda Diagonal and Gran Vía.

GRAN VIA: Crosses
the city from North to South. To the south it connects with the
C-31 (C31 connects with C-32). To the North with the autopista C-32.
Gran Vía leads to Plaça Espanya, Plaça Universitat,
Plaça Catalunya and Plaça de les Glòries.

AVENIDA DIAGONAL:
Connects with roads and autopistas to the south and west of Spain.
A-P7, A-P2, A-2/N-II and N-340.

LAS
RONDAS:
These are fast ring roads, there are three:
- Ronda de Dalt: Runs roughly north-south and lies west of the city.
This is the fastest route to and from the airport and the autopista
north to France.
- Ronda del Litoral: Completes the ring around the city, following
the coast.
- Ronda del Mig: Runs diagonally across the city from south-east
to north-west. .
