Flamenco Barcelona offers the following courses:

- Flamenco guitar lessons
- Cante (Singing)
- Dance
- Compás y palmas (castanets and rhythmic flamenco clapping)
- Cajón (box drum, percussion)

There are group courses (maximum 5 students) or private lessons. The teachers are professionals actively related to the world of Flamenco. According to Cándido, the director of Flamenco Barcelona, "experience isn't necessary to sign up for a course, but what helps learning Flamenco is feeling the passion for it".

LOS TARANTOS

The hall TARANTOS is one of the oldest Flamenco -"tablaos" (halls) of Barcelona. Famous artists like Antoni Gades or Maruja Garrido, Niña Pastori, Duquenque, Miguel Poveda or Dieguito "El Cigala" performed here. Nowadays the musical offer varies and besides the Flamenco you can listen to different music styles like the Son Cubano or Jazz.

FLAMENCO BARCELONA

In the same place, in which the courses of Flamenco Barcelona take place, every evening from Tuesday until Saturday starting at 20.00h you can listen to the most authentic cante (Flamencosinging). It happens now and then during the perfomances that members or friends of the club spontaneously begin to dance or join the singing or add other Flamenco arts. However it is to be mentioned that these performances are based on the art of cante (singing) and meant to make well-known this part of Flamenco art.
