One of the possibilties to explore Barcelona and get a general impression of the city is taking the bus. The Barcelona Tourist Bus, a double-decker bus, offers 3 routes (the north route -red-, the south route -blue- and the Fòrum route -green-).The 3 routes have 44 stops at interesting places. During the sightseeing tour you can get on and off of the bus as many times as you like. Once you have visited one place you can continue the tour with the same ticket. On the bus a tourist information guide is giving information about the next stop in several languages. You will also get a guide in 6 languages about all the places where the bus stops. The bus ticket includes a voucher with discounts for many places in Barcelona like for example the Pedrera and the Sagrada Familia by Gaudi.

The tourist bus works during the whole year, except the 25th of december and the 1st of January. The frequency of the Barcelona Bus Tour service is between 5 and 25 minutes. The main bus stop is Plaça Catalunya.

The tourist buses of the North route and the South route start in the morning between 9.00 and 9:30h. The tours of the North route (red) and the South route (blue) take about 2 hours. The first buses of the Fòrum route (green) start about 9.30h in the morning form the Port Olímpic and the Fòrum. Last departures: 19h in winter and 20h in summer. You can by tickets for 1 or 2 days in the bus. They are valid for the 3 routes.
