The exhibition "The temptation to exist" presents two essential series of European photography in the second half of the twentieth century: "Les Amies de Place Blanche" by Christer Strömholm and "Café Lehmitz" by Anders Petersen. These two authors who, besides being the greatest exponents of Swedish photography, share a way to understand the medium that has been decisive in contemporary photography. The works by Strömholm and Petersen, professor and disciple respectively, reflect a clear Nordic melancholy as well as an intense attraction and commitment to the photographed environment.
